Opening Sequence

Welcome to my blog which I have just created so I will just be getting to grips with posting layout,style,formatting etc as we progress.

To cut directly to the point, this blog has been born out of the frustration from closely watching the world situation regress politically over the last few years and the manipulation campaigns that are managed to promote certain geopolitical narratives and aims. These narratives and aims always lead to, and conclude in,actions that are catastrophic to local populations and regions as a whole.

Coming from the perspective of an Irish Republican and having the long and bloodied history on our island of British imperial genocide to consolidate it's Empire for political and economic reasons alone, I strongly identify and support anti imperialism and anti colonialism it all forms.

This has lead to a strong interest in the world situation and specific hot spots where geopolitical conflicts are taking place in direct and proxy forms, usually always instigated by imperialist forces with self serving aims to the detriment of the local inhabitants and world stability in general.

Particular interest has been taken specifically in Ukraine and Syria  which are two of the most important of these zones. I have followed each conflict quite closely and have long been frustrated at the hypocritical stances and actions of the so called civilised 'first world' nations and the complicity of the main stream media and NGOs who toe this same line and are wilful and obedient partners in the common and favoured  'regime' change/colour revolution narrative. 

I have long sat back and digested analysis from sources independent of this clique such as The Saker without contributing much back in return. To summarise and keep it short (as I'm sure as more posts are added a further insight into my more extensive views will become clear) I feel a turning point has been reached with Trumps illegal and provocative strike against a sovereign nation in Syria which compelled me to create or contribute to the community who is pushing back against the huge juggernaut that is the main stream account.

It may be only one small blog but hopefully it may link in with others or just contribute positively in some small way and change the mindset of even one individual to start questioning the narrative that is regularly falsified and peddled out through governments,agencies and media organisations .

My plan is to have it sorted out as a part Angry Arab type blog (quick observational posts) mixed with longer individual and wider issue analysis or investigative style postings (trying to undermine falsified narratives through open source based evidence and facts).

Hopefully this 'Casting A Cold Eye' will be both productive and a positive contribution to the overall aim in confronting this main stream narrative.
